The Contemplative Frog

A small companion for quiet rooms.

Cast in mid-meditation, The Still Frog sits as if the rest of the world can wait. Legs crossed, hands at rest, eyes closed. Every crease, fingertip and sleepy expression is finely cast and hand-finished, so he has that warm, aged character you only get from a piece that’s been properly worked.

Look at his feet and you’ll find a small hole, sized for a thin incense stick. Light one and he becomes the centre of a modest ritual: a thread of smoke lifting past his folded hands while he stays perfectly unbothered.

He doesn’t need much. A corner of a desk, a windowsill, a shelf. Somewhere he can sit and quietly suggest you do the same.

Why he earns his place

• Finely cast, with rich surface detail
• Hand-finished for a warm antique character, not a factory sheen
• Doubles as an incense holder — the hole at his feet takes a thin stick cleanly
• Small enough to rest in the palm, sturdy enough to display
• A thoughtful gift for birthdays, housewarmings, retirements, or no occasion at all

A little stillness, wherever he lands. Whether he watches over a long workday, holds incense in the evening, or simply sits on a shelf at home, The Still Frog brings a small pause into the room. He’s the sort of object people pick up, turn in their hands, and smile at — every time.
